You know what, I quite enjoyed myself here. The food was both authentic, but also had a sense of that restaurant-like feel.
Most dishes were superb and I must say, the Indian deserts hit the spot! The only, tiny, ity-bity issue I had was that some dishes were a bit oily compared to the others.
But I won't complain too much as it still tasted divine.
Overall, an amazing place to dine at.
Always a great takeaway, but we enjoyed a lovely meal recently in the restaurant. Helpful, attentive staff, great food, and the dishes were served at ideal intervals. Portions were a great size, and staff helped us to take the leftovers home. Price was very reasonable too. Recommended.
Outstanding! (writing this review a few hours after leaving the restaurant) My girlfriend and I went to Saffron while we were on holiday from the U.S. Saffron was reccomneded to us by a staff member at the hotel we were staying at. We were not dissapointed. We came late in the evening, was greeted by the owner who was very nice. I asked what he recommended and he came back out with a fantastic lamb dish. My girlfriend got the vegetable curry and was also quite good. Spice, taste and experience all were wondeful.
